Finnish vocalist Johanna Grüssner and her country fellow, pianist Mika Pohjola continue their 25-plus-year musical journey by interpreting songs by Åland Islands-based songwriter Knut Grüssner, who is also Johanna's uncle. The instrumentation is - in contrast to the duo's several other outings - a simple, traditional voice and piano duo setting.

The songs are of Ethnic folksong character with lyrics in Swedish by several writers from Finland. The lyrics often describe the lustful archipelago of The Åland Islands.
